ROTORBLADE FACTORY

 

Demirer Holding is aiming high local content in wind turbine manufacturing. Savings in production and transport costs combined with using the latest technology will help us to supply Turkey with clean energy in most economic way. In the first powerplant civil works and electrical infrastructure equipment were local.In the second power plant the steel towers were added to the local content. For the next step we decided to build up the rotorblade factory.

 

The rotorblade factory is a jointventure between Demirer and Enercon GmbH Germany . Enercon is the market leader in Germany  and has a share of 15% in world market with 6,000 employees.

 

Enercon Aero Rüzgar Endüstirisi A.Ş. is established in Izmir Free Trade Zone on a ground of 30,000 square meters with a covered area of  7,000 square meters.  The planned total capacity is  1000 pieces of  22 metre blades for E44/E48 turbines. The factory has the value of  10.5 Milyon USD and  has created about 200 job places. Short term export target is set to 15 Milyon € per year.

In 2005 for the factory started the production of new generation , high efficieny E48 blades.
