FIRST WINDFARM of TURKEY

  Demirer Holding A.S. erected the first windfarm of Turkey in February 1998 to supply  Delta Plastik End. A.Ş.

 Ceres windfarm is located in Cesme– Germiyan area near Izmir.  3 turbines have a total capacity of 1.74 MW. 

 Yearly production is 5GWh.  This covers 5.000 people's demand in the region.

The cumulative production since 1998 has reached 35GWh. That means 35 thousand tons less CO2 emission to the atmospheres , compared to a coal fired powerplant  .
